The town office staff, along with our local Emergency Management Director, have provided a list of resources and information for Burnham residents.

A temporary emergency phone has been set up to assist Burnham residents that may need guidance, groceries, financial help or advice during hours the town office is closed. Call 207-314-6698 and leave a message. Your call will be returned. Calling 211 is also always an option.

The Transfer Station is still open during regular hours (Tuesdays 12-4pm, Saturdays 8am-4pm)
Check with your pharmacy, as most have delivery available or for a small fee will mail prescriptions.
Volunteers are available to pick up groceries for residents in need.
Belfast Co-Op has launched shopping with curbside pick-up. Call them at 207-338-2532 for more information.
Hannaford customers over 60 or considered high-risk may shop special hours. Check with Hannaford for the most up-to-date hours.
Unity Food Pantry
Open the 3rd Saturday of each month, 6-7:30am. Curbside meals to-go: Thursdays at 10:30am (outside the Unity Community Center)
There are also a small supply of food boxes at the Town Office, supplied by the Unity Food Pantry.

A registration, including a temporary registration, of a vehicle, including, without limitation, a motor vehicle, all-terrain vehicle, watercraft or snowmobile, or a trailer required to be registered in this State that expires during the period of a state of emergency declared by the Governor (state of emergency was declared on March 15, 2020) in accordance with Title 37-B, section 742 due to the outbreak of COVID-19 is deemed extended until 30 days following the termination of the state of emergency.
Registering Newly Purchased Vehicles:
On March 23, 2020 the Governor authorized the temporary stay of the requirement to register a vehicle after the transfer of ownership or title. This will be in effect for the duration of the emergency. If a person can register normally through their municipality or Bureau of Motor Vehicle Office before the end of the emergency, then they should do so immediately.
In the event a person or company purchasing a motor vehicle or trailer in a “private sale” which does
not include a temporary registration plate, and subsequently cannot register that vehicle due to the
existing emergency, this document may serve as a temporary registration.
